The WSD (Women Specific Design) geometry is designed for a nimble but balanced bike, with a comfortable posture to handle less-than-perfect urban roads and paths. 

WSD or Women Specific Design is an approach to building bikes that considers female proportions to produce a bike more suited to a female rider with a step-through frame, narrower handlebars and a more padded saddle with wider sit-bone support.

Whether it’s a weekend bike path cruise, regular commute to work or pushing yourself on fitness rides - the Urban C1 WSD is the perfect bike for however you like to ride.

A fast bike needs trusted stopping power, and the Urban C1 is fitted with Tektro hydraulic disc brakes. Hydraulics deliver more power with less lever force than other systems, which gives better modulation and control in all riding conditions even when wet.

Proven Shimano 24-speed gearing provides ample range to climb hills confidently, shift reliably and also get up to serious speed when you push it.

Running on wide 40 millimetre commuter tyres that are fitted to durable double-wall alloy rims with quick release hubs; the Urban C1 WSD is built to give years of hassle-free performance.
